There is created a board of trustees of the Bothell fire department for the purpose of administering the provisions of BMC 2.64.480 through 2.64.530, which board of trustees shall consist of the mayor, the city clerk, and one councilmember to be appointed by the mayor, the chief of the fire department, and one member of the fire department, to be elected by the members of the fire department for a term of one year and annually thereafter. The mayor is designated as chairperson of the board of trustees, and the clerk is designated as secretary of the board, and the treasurer thereof. It shall be the duties of the board of trustees to carry out the provisions of the State Volunteer Relief Fund Act. (Ord. 183 § 6, 1953).
