A. Dimensions. Block lengths, widths and shapes shall be determined with due regard to the following:

1. Provision of adequate building sites related to the type of use that is planned for the area;

2. Needs for convenient access, circulation, control, and safety of vehicular and pedestrian traffic;

3. Zoning requirements, where applicable, as to minimum lot sizes;

4. Topography of the land;

5. LID techniques, such as zero lot line development and clustering development, can be used to reduce block lengths. (Ord. 2200 § 2 (Exh. B), 2016; Ord. 1633 § 1, 1996).
