There is hereby established a municipal firefighter’s pension board, to consist of the officials and persons designated by statute, consisting of, ex officio, the mayor, who shall be chairperson of the board, the city clerk, the chairperson of finance of the city council, or, if there is no chairperson of finance, the city treasurer, and in addition, two regularly employed firefighters elected by secret ballot of the firefighters, all as provided in RCW 41.18.010 and, by reference therein, to RCW 41.16.020. Such board and the members, secretary, employees and agents thereof shall have and exercise all powers, duties and functions prescribed by said chapters as amended. (Ord. 536 § 2, 1968).
