Meters shall be located on the public right-of-way whenever practicable. If the public works director determines that a meter or meters may be located on private property, the owner shall provide the department of public works with easements for meter reading and maintenance. The public works director shall make the final determination of location of all meters. (Ord. 1634 § 1, 1996).
