Upon receipt of the appeal, the city manager or the manager’s designee shall set a date for hearing within 30 days of receipt of the notice of appeal and notify the appellant of the date, time and place of hearing. The city manager or the manager’s designee shall render the decision within 10 days after the hearing is closed, reduce the decision to writing and include a statement of reasons for the decision. The city manager or designee may affirm or reverse the revocation decision or order suspension for a specified period. (Ord. 1974 § 1, 2007; Ord. 1627 § 1, 1996).
