The community development department shall notify the county assessor and the applicant of the board’s approval or denial of the application. If the board determines that the property qualifies as an eligible historic property, the board shall certify the fact in writing and the community development department shall file a copy of the certificate with the county assessor within 10 days of the determination and no later than December 31st.
