Any member of the volunteer fire department of the city may enroll under the pension provisions of the Volunteer Firefighters’s Relief and Pension Fund Act for the purpose of enabling any such firefighter so electing to avail themself of the retirement provisions of the act. (Ord. 183 § 3, 1953).
