Immediately after their appointment, members of the commission shall meet and organize by electing from the members of the commission a chair, secretary, and such other officers as may be necessary. It shall be the duty of the chair to preside at all meetings of the commission and of the secretary to keep minutes of all meetings and of all proceedings of the commission. A majority of the commission constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business, and the votes of a majority of the quorum shall be necessary to carry out any business. A meeting of the commission shall be held at least every other month, unless cancelled due to a lack of business. (Ord. 2216 § 2, 2017).
