At the written request of the owner of the subject property, the meter shall be removed without charge. During the time the meter is removed, no water use charge shall be made. When the meter is reinstalled in the same location from which it was removed, the service charge shall be as established by resolution of the city; provided, however, if any additional work is required, the charge shall be time and material, payable on demand. If the building has been substantially remodeled or replaced, the service fee may be Type A, Type B and/or Type C. (Ord. 1634 § 1, 1996).
