It is unlawful for any person to cover or backfill any sanitary side sewer, private sewer or lateral without having called for and received an inspection, testing and approval by the public works director. Inspection requires 24 hours’ notice of when such construction is ready for inspection. The side sewer permit shall be available on site at the time of the inspection. (Ord. 1634 § 1, 1996).
