A. A final plat meeting all requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW and this title shall be submitted to the city for approval within five years of the date of preliminary plat approval; except that through December 31, 2014, such a final plat shall be submitted to the city for approval within seven years of the date of preliminary plat approval.

B. For nonexpired plats which were approved prior to December 31, 2009, a one-time, automatic extension of one year shall be granted, provided written request is submitted to the city by the applicant prior to the preliminary plat expiration date.
