10.65.060 Penalties.
A. The penalty for a stoplight violation shall be equal to the maximum penalty possible for such a violation under RCW 46.63.170, which amount shall be in addition to any applicable statutory assessments.
B. The penalty for a school speed zone violation shall be based on the speed over the posted speed limit that the vehicle is traveling:
1. If the speed of the vehicle is one to 15 miles per hour over the posted speed limit, the penalty shall be $139.00, which amount includes any applicable statutory assessments.
2. If the speed of the vehicle is 16 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit, the penalty shall be $250.00, which amount includes any applicable statutory assessments.
C. Fees and penalties for failure to respond shall follow the standard court schedule for infractions. (Ord. 2371 § 1 (Att. A), 2021).
